Business Migration

Australia has a long history of welcoming business migrants who are looking to build successful businesses or invest in Australia. Victoria in particular is a popular destination for business migrants intending to migrate to Australia.

There are many options for business migration such as:

• Investor Visa

Temporary Work Skilled (subclass 457)

This allows skilled workers whose occupations are on the list (published by the Department of Immigration Border Protection) to come to Australia and work for an approved business sponsor for up to 2-4 years. This visa may also be used as a pathway to permanent residency.

Protection Visa

People who arrive in Australia legally, have been persecuted in their home country or have a well founded fear of persecution based on their nationality, race, religious belief, political opinion or being a member of a particular social group may be able to apply for protection while in Australia.

Partner Visa

Partner visas are available to people who are married or in a de facto relationship of over 12 months with an Australian citizen / Permanent Resident partner or intend to marry an Australian Fiancé. This application can be made on or offshore. Visa application fees in recent years have increased considerably so care must be taken when preparing and lodging Partner Visa applications to guarantee a favorable outcome. Limitations on sponsorships, validity of marriage especially overseas marriages, legal requirements in respect of duration of de facto relationships have proven.
